ORGANISATIONAL BACKGROUND.
Mid-western Region Centre for Democracy and Human
Rights - MICOD is a regional, non for profit independent organization
registered and has mandate to operate nationally and currently in five
districts of Hoima, Kiryandongo, Buliisa, Hoima and Kibaale. It is registered
with Uganda National NGO Board Ministry of Internal affairs (Reg. No 8825 &
Ref. File No S.5914/9318).

"MICOD exists to contribute to the development of good practices through advocacy for the observance and protection of democracy and human rights in the Mid Western Region of Uganda."
PROJECT BACKGROUND
MICOD with support from Government Accountability
Participation and Performance Program (GAPP)
is implementing a project in Kiryandongo District with the overall goal of contributing to
improved health and education service delivery for the refugee, migrants and
host communities in Mutunda sub-county and Bweyale town council by December
2018.
project Objectives
To monitor government service delivery and generate
issues for evidence based advocacy
To mobilize host communities to advocate for better
service delivery through participation in local government planning and
budgeting process
Promote interface between the host communities,
settlers with duty bearers on generated service delivery concerns
LOCATION: MICOD is located at plot 18 ,kasigwa road African quaters Masindi district.
